Spanish Ryder Cup Players Head Strong Contingent
Four former Ryder Cup players, Jose Maria Canizares, Antonio Garrido, Manuel Pinero and Jose Rivero, will head a strong Spanish contingent when the European Senior Tour visits Mallorca for the first Son Gual Mallorca Senior Open next month
Garrido, along with Seve Ballesteros, was the first continental golfer to be selected for The Ryder Cup in 1979, two years after the pair won the World Cup for Spain in the Philippines
